About me
I am an artist specializing in designing clean and thoughtful designs based on user tendencies and behaviors. I am interested in empathizing with the user, understanding the psychology behind their actions, and creating a beautiful interface.
My background spans from creating digital assets for websites, emails, and digital ads to art directing seasonal photography shoots (Clarks Shoes) and broadcast television commercials (Ortho Mattress), to designing user flows for e-commerce logins, checkouts and account dashboards (Wayfair.com & Joybird).
I earned a studio art & communications degree from Hobart & William Smith College in Geneva, NY. I then attended Boston University’s Center for Digital Imaging Arts, earning a graduate certificate in Graphic & Web Design at their Washington, DC campus. Realizing the importance of user experience and user interface design, I then took the User Experience course at the UCLA Extension school in the Spring of 2017.
I have a true passion for user experience and design, and using those tools and skills to help build brands. Through my own research and connecting with others, I am continuing my education and keeping up with design trends and practices. I have found my true stride in advertising and e-commerce, direct to consumer marketing, and branding.
